On the afternoon of 29/3, Yen Hoa Ward Police announced they are investigating two individuals for public disorder and other potential criminal offenses, following their arrest.

Initial investigations revealed that at 23:15 on 28/3, the 19-year-old student was riding a motorcycle on Nguyen Khang street, in Yen Hoa Ward, when he encountered a car speeding, driving against traffic, and overtaking recklessly. The occupants of the car then cornered and blocked the student's motorcycle.
Two men exited the car, forced the student's head to the ground, and began punching and assaulting him. One of the assailants repeatedly struck the victim's head and face with a hard object. The student clutched his head, unable to resist the attack. After a short time, the group in the car fled the scene. Residents rushed the victim to the hospital, where he is currently being treated for multiple injuries.
Residents recorded the entire incident of the student's assault, which was subsequently posted on social media, drawing widespread outrage and numerous comments. Most viewers urged police to take strict action against the perpetrators.
