On 29/3, Waterway Traffic Police Team No. 1, under the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Traffic Police Department, fined a 33-year-old man from Dak Lak 5 million VND. The fine was for operating a jet ski without a required registration certificate and lacking a professional operating license.

Earlier, on the night of 27/3, the TikToker and some friends brought a jet ski to the public beach opposite the Thanh Nien Football Field area in Nha Trang ward. He stated that he did not see any signs prohibiting jet skis and the beach was empty, so he drove it around four times to test the engine before bringing the vehicle ashore.
The incident was recorded and posted on his TikTok account, which has over one million followers.
During his interaction with authorities, the TikToker admitted that the jet ski lacked a registration certificate and that he did not possess the required professional license to operate it. "I have recognized that my actions violated waterway traffic laws", he said.

Waterway Traffic Police Team No. 1 advises that all entertainment activities involving jet skis must have a full business license. Furthermore, operations must possess a complete technical safety certificate and the jet skis must be registered, with the exception of non-motorized types or those with a capacity of fewer than five people.
In addition, operators must hold the required professional certificates or degrees. Operations must adhere to designated activity areas as stipulated by State regulations. Jet skis are prohibited from entering restricted zones, marine conservation areas, and areas reserved for swimmers.
