On 10/1, Tu Liem ward police announced they had summoned a woman for allegedly assaulting her neighbor. Police are investigating the incident as intentional injury and have initiated an injury assessment based on the 43-year-old victim's request.
Security camera footage from 8 p.m. on 8/1 shows the incident. Hang, a resident of the CT5-DN2 building on Tran Huu Duc street, was returning home from work when her neighbors called her over to discuss "opinions" about their family. Before Hang could explain, the woman reportedly rushed out, cursed at her, and delivered a "very strong slap" to her face.
Hang retreated, but the woman grabbed her hair and repeatedly punched her head. The altercation lasted about five minutes.
Hospitalized the following morning, doctors determined Hang suffered a concussion and soft tissue injuries to her head and chest. She remains hospitalized for further monitoring.

Speaking to VnExpress on the morning of 10/1, the victim stated she moved into the building in 2017 and has experienced ongoing issues. She recounted: "Recently, the neighbors' 13-year-old son has been bothering me and other residents. He also came to my apartment, rang the doorbell multiple times, and engaged in inappropriate behavior."
The neighbors also reportedly leave dozens of pairs of shoes scattered in the hallway, causing clutter, and sing karaoke with "loud noise." Hang had complained to the building management board, but the issues remained unresolved. To gather evidence and protect herself, she installed a camera outside her door.
After being discharged from the hospital, Hang stated, "My son and I will immediately rent another apartment to live in because I am truly terrified and don't dare to return to the old home."
She has filed a request for legal prosecution of the incident.
