Addressing the skepticism, Pagni stated her financial independence and career in the medical sector, asserting she "doesn't need to gold-dig". She emphasized her love for Massimo stems from his intellect and the respect he shows her.

"Build your own life and don't let anyone decide for you who you love", Pagni shared on 1/1, alongside a video of her husband playing guitar. She also refuted rumors of her husband owning a luxury watch, clarifying that the timepiece he wears was a simple commemorative gift from her.

Their relationship began 5 years ago when Pagni was a student in a philosophy class taught by Massimo in high school. At the time, their bond was strictly teacher-student. They lost contact after her graduation, only to reunite by chance at a bookstore in 2024. "I secretly admired him; this reunion feels like destiny", Pagni remarked.

Initially, Pagni's parents opposed the relationship. However, seeing their daughter's happiness and Massimo's care, they gradually offered their support.
