After dinner, the kitchen of Tuan and Mai, who live in an apartment in TP HCM, often becomes messy with dishes, pots, and pans after cooking. Previously, cleanup would typically add 20-30 minutes, leaving them with little time to relax or play with their young child.
"Some days we both came home late from work, and after eating, we had to take turns washing dishes. It's a small task, but repeating it every day was quite tiring", Mai shared.
Everything changed after the family started using a dishwasher. According to Tuan, cleaning the kitchen now involves simply loading dishes into the machine, selecting a program, and returning to the living room. "The kitchen is tidier, and I also have more time to relax or play with my child", he said.

Similarly, Khanh and Thao's family in Hanoi also faced "task division" after each meal. Both work office jobs and typically only have time to cook in the evenings. For them, washing dishes after dinner sometimes made both spouses hesitant.
"Before, we often left the dishes to wash later because it took quite a bit of time, especially on days we cooked many dishes. Sometimes we would even leave them until the next morning", Thao recounted.
After switching to a dishwasher, this habit changed. Dishes are loaded into the machine immediately after meals, eliminating the sight of piled-up dishes in the sink. According to Khanh, this keeps the kitchen tidy and reduces the feeling of "unfinished chores" at the end of the day.
"In the evening after dinner, we can spend time watching movies or reading instead of standing in the kitchen. Such small things make daily life more comfortable", he said.
The stories of these two young families reflect a growing trend in urban apartments. As living spaces shrink and life becomes busier, many families are beginning to view dishwashers as a basic kitchen appliance, similar to a refrigerator or washing machine.

A notable feature of the appliance is its HyperDry hot air drying technology, combined with an automatic door-opening function after the cycle ends. Circulating hot air eliminates moisture. The automatic door mechanism aids steam release, helping dishes dry quickly and preventing water accumulation.
In addition to drying, the machine integrates a UV germicidal lamp and meets sterilization standards from the German Institute of Hygiene and Virology, according to the manufacturer. After completing a cycle, the appliance can keep dishes dry and warm for up to 168 hours.
Beyond performance, design is also emphasized to suit apartment kitchen spaces. The machine features a frameless design with Morandi gray tones and a touch control panel placed on top of the door, creating a sleek overall look that blends easily with various interior styles.

Its fit-in design allows the appliance to integrate seamlessly into kitchen cabinetry, reducing bulkiness in small spaces. This enables the machine to become a cohesive part of the kitchen layout rather than a standalone appliance.
Another detail contributing to a seamless user experience is Knock to Open technology. Users simply tap lightly on the door, and the sensor system activates, opening the door automatically without a handle. This operation makes it convenient when hands are busy or wet, while also adding a subtle touch to the kitchen space.
The appliance is also equipped with an Origin Inverter motor to optimize power consumption and supports remote connectivity via the TSmartLife app for monitoring and controlling certain functions.
According to Toshiba, the development of kitchen appliances like dishwashers aims to help young families optimize their daily time and maintain a tidy and hygienic kitchen space.
For many young families, appliances that aid in cleaning and keeping the kitchen tidy are gradually becoming a familiar part of daily life. After several months of use, Khanh stated that the dishwasher has become a regularly used appliance in their kitchen, eliminating the question of who washes dishes after meals and providing more time for relaxation.
