Johnathan Hanh Nguyen awards scholarships to 200 students in need

Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, chairman of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), and his family awarded 200 scholarships to students overcoming hardship on 19/9.

"Stepping into the Future" is one of IPPG's annual scholarship programs. Each scholarship is worth 5 million VND and is awarded to students facing financial difficulties but demonstrating resilience and academic achievement. The total value of the scholarships is one billion VND.

Nguyen, his wife Le Hong Thuy Tien, daughter Thao Tien, and youngest son Hieu Nguyen presented the scholarships to 200 university students in Khanh Hoa.

At the event, Nguyen shared that Khanh Hoa is not only integral to his business journey but also his birthplace. The scholarships represent both financial support and encouragement, conveying his belief in the younger generation who will contribute to the prosperity of their homeland.

"No one chooses where they are born, but they have the right to choose how they rise. Each step taken to overcome challenges today will lay a solid foundation for tomorrow's success. Khanh Hoa needs young people who dare to dream, act, and contribute. I believe that among you here today, there will be dedicated teachers, talented doctors, outstanding entrepreneurs, and exemplary citizens who will bring honor to our country," Nguyen stated.

For many years, IPPG has promoted charitable activities, particularly in education and youth development. This reflects the group's philosophy: business is linked to community responsibility, and success goes hand in hand with community contribution.

In 1985, he established the first commercial flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Manila (Philippines), laying the foundation for IPPG. The group invests in various sectors, including retail, aviation, and real estate. In addition, he has established scholarships, supported education and startups, and donated tens of billions of VND to social welfare and charity programs nationwide.
