Karofi integrates three alkaline levels, five temperature modes on water purifier

The Karofi S88 Promax features three alkaline levels with pH 8,5-9,5; hydrogen-ion alkaline water and three hot water temperatures of 45, 75, 99 degrees C, meeting the diverse needs of multi-member households.

A Karofi representative noted that beyond water purification capabilities, users are increasingly interested in alkalinity, temperature, and convenience. This trend has led to the integration of multiple functions into single devices, streamlining operations and reducing the number of kitchen appliances. Based on this, the company developed the Karofi S88 Promax hot and cold hydrogen-ion alkaline water purifier as a versatile system for large or multi-generational families.

"Instead of offering a single fixed water mode, the device allows users to select three alkaline levels and five water modes to suit individual needs," the representative stated.

Specifically, the S88 Promax produces three alkaline water levels: mild alkaline (pH 8,5), medium alkaline (pH 9,0), and strong alkaline (pH 9,5), utilizing Alkaline Direk electrolysis technology with five platinum-coated titanium electrodes.

According to the company's representative, each family member can select a level based on their habits, purpose, and familiarity, rather than the entire household using a single setting. The company recommends the pH ~8,5 level for those new to alkaline ion water, while the two higher levels are for regular users.

In addition to the three alkaline levels, the device dispenses hydrogen-ion alkaline water, cold hydrogen-ion alkaline water, and three hot water temperatures: approximately 45 degrees C, 75 degrees C, and 99 degrees C.

Specifically, the 45 degrees C setting serves for warm water or preparing beverages that require a moderate temperature. The 75 degrees C setting is suitable for brewing tea and coffee, while the 99 degrees C setting assists in preparing instant noodles.

"When in need of refreshment, users can select cold hydrogen-ion alkaline water; room temperature hydrogen-ion alkaline water is suitable for daily direct consumption," the company representative stated.

The manufacturer also stated that integrating multiple water modes into one device allows users to dispense water on demand without the need to boil, wait for cooling, chill, or transfer water to other appliances. This design partly replaces the functions of electric kettles, hot and cold water dispensers, or ice makers.

All water dispensing operations are performed via a touchscreen display located on top of the machine. The interface shows different water modes with corresponding icons and temperature levels, allowing users to select according to their needs.

In addition to diversifying water modes, the unit integrates new technologies into the S88 Promax. A notable feature is the hydrogen-ion electrolysis system, designed with a transparent core, which allows users to directly observe the hydrogen generation process within the machine.

The S88 Promax's water treatment foundation is a 12+1 Smax filtration system, comprising: a coarse filter cluster, a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane manufactured in the United States, functional filters, and the hydrogen-ion electrolysis cluster.

According to the announcement, the coarse filter group removes harmful substances from the water. The functional filter group helps to add minerals, stabilize water taste, and balance pH levels. A company representative noted that Smax technology offers double the efficiency and lifespan compared to the brand's previous generation of filters.

A Karofi representative indicated that water purifiers are evolving from merely providing clean water to meeting multiple needs within a single device. The company aims to personalize the user experience and optimize living spaces by integrating various pH levels, temperature modes, electrolysis technology, and a comprehensive filtration system.

"We aim to develop products that integrate multiple water modes to satisfy diverse usage requirements. Each household member can select the water type appropriate for their age, habits, and specific purpose," the representative added.
