To participate, parents need to complete three steps. First, share the organizer's minigame post on social media publicly. Next, upload two photos: one of their child participating in a sport and another with Kun milk or the Kun mascot. The post must include three hashtags: #KunMarathonDaNang2025, #SuaKUN, #CungKunVanDongMoiNgay. Finally, parents fill out the registration information through the program's online form.

The organizers will randomly select 1,000 valid entries to award early registration slots. Each email address and phone number can only be used once. The results will be announced on 9/7 on the program's official website.
After the minigame, Kun Marathon Da Nang will open an additional 1,000 official registration slots, aiming for approximately 2,000 participating children. The young runners will experience a nearly one-kilometer course with various age-appropriate physical challenges. Upon completion, each child will receive a medal and have the opportunity to receive additional gifts for achieving good results.
Besides the main race, the event will also feature many exciting side activities such as Kun jelly slides, "blind bag" openings, minigames with gifts, and meet-and-greets with guest artists. This is a highlight in the Kun Marathon 2025 series, which has previously taken place in TP HCM, Hue, and Ha Long, attracting thousands of children.
The event is co-organized by the Kun milk brand as part of the VnExpress Marathon race system.
