Lifebuoy supports Dien Bien students

Unilever Vietnam and Lifebuoy have partnered with the Ministry of Education and Thien Long Group to support students in Dien Bien by renovating schools and donating learning materials and healthcare support.

Dien Bien recently experienced heavy flooding, impacting the lives of many, including students, according to a Lifebuoy representative. In response, Lifebuoy collaborated with partners and government agencies to organize a series of support activities, contributing to a healthy and safe start to the new school year for these students. This initiative not only provides timely aid after the natural disaster but also offers moral support, instilling confidence and strength as students return to their classrooms and pursue their dreams.

Unilever Vietnam and Lifebuoy partnered with the Ministry of Education and Training to renovate facilities at Muong Luan Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Dien Bien province, in time for the start of the 2025-2026 school year. The project included constructing restrooms and handwashing stations, along with educating students about proper hygiene practices.

In addition, initiatives such as book donations and the establishment of "knowledge cabinets" were implemented to provide students with access to a wider range of learning resources and improved study spaces. Thien Long Group contributed to this effort by donating learning materials, further equipping students for the new academic year. The total value of Lifebuoy and Thien Long’s contributions to the school reached 500 million VND.

Representatives from the program also visited a local orphanage, providing gifts and material support to the children, offering warmth and encouragement just before the start of the new school year.

The total value of the sanitation equipment provided reached 500 million VND.

Continuing its strategic partnership for community health, the brand collaborated with the Vietnam Young Doctors Association to organize free health check-ups and medication distribution for students and local residents.
