As a leading global home electronics manufacturer, Samsung consistently ranks among the top choices for consumers seeking washing and drying appliances. The South Korean giant boasts extensive manufacturing experience in this sector, highlighted by the success of its Bespoke AI Laundry Combo heat pump washer-dryer. This residential washer-dryer sold over 100,000 units in South Korea within its first year, earning 21 major international awards, including the CES Innovation Awards Honoree and IDEA Design Award Finalist. Notably, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo was also ranked number 1 in the combined washer-dryer category by Consumer Reports (US) for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025).

Building on this success, Samsung's entry into the industrial washing and drying machine market offers an effective business solution for laundromats, dormitories, hotels, apartments, and hospitals. Samsung has already implemented automated industrial laundry models in its home country, South Korea, and several other Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This expansion lays the groundwork for Samsung to enter Viet Nam's promising industrial laundry market.
Addressing the shortcomings of traditional models
Most current laundromats still rely on residential washing and drying machines for commercial operations. These machines have limitations such as slow speeds, rapid wear from continuous use, and high maintenance costs. Residential washer-dryers are designed for one to two uses per day, making them unsuitable for the continuous operation required in commercial environments.
Samsung's new industrial washing and drying machines overcome these drawbacks while offering additional value to businesses. The products are developed for various commercial operation models, including self-service laundromats, laundry services, hotels, and facilities requiring high-capacity laundry solutions.
The 18 kg capacity washing machine completes a wash cycle in just 36 minutes, while the 14 kg dryer finishes a drying cycle in 45 minutes. This efficiency shortens processing times and optimizes the number of customers served daily. Their modern design, stackable configuration for space-saving, and official warranty service provide flexible solutions for various operational scales and models.

Stable and durable operation throughout their lifespan is another advantage of these products. The washing machines feature a direct drive motor combined with VRT+ vibration reduction technology, which minimizes shaking, ensures quiet operation, and maintains performance even under continuous use. Additionally, Bubble Technology creates superfine bubbles that quickly penetrate fabric fibers, enhancing cleaning effectiveness and preventing detergent residue.
Reversible dryer doors and the stackable design further optimize installation space and enhance operational convenience. The dryer's control panel offers flexible installation, mountable at the top or lowered to the machine body, ensuring easy access, especially in stacked configurations.

Easy transition to automation models
To optimize operating costs, laundry service businesses are considering transitioning from manual to automated operations. Samsung's industrial washing and drying machines integrate an open API system, allowing flexible connectivity with third-party management and payment platforms. According to the brand, for self-service laundromats—where most stores operate without on-site staff—remote device connectivity enables owners to easily monitor equipment status and manage operations remotely, thereby improving operational efficiency.
