Toshiba product suite helps families cope with hot season

An integrated range of Toshiba solutions, including air conditioners, refrigerators, washer-dryers, water filters with ice makers, and microwaves, offers convenience and contributes to a comfortable feeling during the hot season.

Continuous high temperatures mean that maintaining a comfortable living space at home is no longer a singular need. Resting areas require stable temperatures, kitchens need to limit heat, drinks must cool quickly, clothes need to be dry, and cooking time should be reduced. Many families are therefore turning to "multi-layered comfort space" solutions, where home appliances work together to alleviate the stuffiness of daily life.

Thanh Mai (living in an apartment in TP HCM) began to notice inconveniences when outdoor temperatures consistently exceeded 35 degrees Celsius. Not only was the living room hot at noon and in the afternoon, but the apartment's small kitchen also heated up quickly whenever she cooked. "The living room gets cool when the air conditioner is on, but the kitchen remains hot, and refrigerator water isn't cold enough when I need to cool down quickly. These small needs, occurring simultaneously, make daily life during the hot season quite inconvenient," she shared.

This year, she started adjusting by using her appliances in an integrated manner. Her P2 RAS-H13P2KCVG-V (1.5HP) air conditioner is pre-programmed via smartphone before the family returns home to maintain a stable temperature. Thanks to inverter technology, the unit operates smoothly, reducing constant on-off cycles, which keeps the space at a more stable cool level. At night, she sets the sleep mode for the temperature to gradually rise towards early morning, avoiding a sudden cold sensation. "My child wakes easily when the temperature changes, so a stable cool room helps him sleep more continuously," she said.

Concurrently, the refrigerator is utilized to prepare food in advance. On hot days, Mai often stores pre-cut fruit, juice, or pre-cooked meals. When needed, she simply takes them out or reheats them quickly.

Additionally, a multifunctional microwave helps reduce time spent in the kitchen. Mai often reheats prepared dishes or quickly cooks a simple lunch. "A meal is ready in just a few minutes, the kitchen doesn't get too hot, and it saves time," she noted.

The demand for cold water also markedly increases. Her family uses the TWP-IW2469SVN water filter with ice maker to make fruit juice or iced tea. In the afternoon, she often prepares refreshing drinks for the whole family after work. "Having ice cubes readily available is much more convenient, especially when my small child drinks water more frequently," she stated.

Meanwhile, laundry during the hot season, while seemingly easy, creates many inconveniences. The heat increases the need to change clothes throughout the day, particularly for families with small children. Mai mentioned that her two children are very active and sweat easily, leading to continuous clothing changes. By using the T37 washer-dryer, she can wash and dry clothes on the same day, ensuring they dry quickly and retain a pleasant scent longer.

Not only Mai's family, but Hoang Phuc, residing in Hanoi, also noticed the difference when using multiple appliances simultaneously. His family has two small children, and the air conditioner runs constantly during summer. However, he stated that preparing cool drinks and quick laundry also contributes to a feeling of comfort.

According to Phuc, previously, each appliance solved a separate problem, but when combined, the effectiveness is more pronounced. The air conditioner keeps the room cool, the refrigerator provides fresh food, the water filter with ice maker supports drinking water needs, the washer-dryer handles laundry, and the microwave helps with quick cooking. "Overall, the hot season is no longer so arduous," he shared.

A Toshiba representative stated that instead of relying on one appliance, a multi-layered solution helps maintain a stable living environment throughout the day. This not only reduces the sensation of stuffiness but also optimizes family life during the peak hot season. When appliances work in coordination, the cooling effect is continuously maintained. A cool room, fresh food, cold drinks, quickly dried clothes, and lightly prepared meals make the daily rhythm smoother. For many urban families, this is a flexible way to adapt to a prolonged hot season without significantly changing daily habits.
