On 15/4, Li placed a delivery order with an unusual note: "Sit by my bed for two hours, no food delivery needed". The 24-year-old, battling cancer, often found herself alone during treatments. Her father worked far away to cover medical expenses, and her younger brother had just started an internship, leaving Li without immediate family support.

The first driver who accepted Li's unique request later shared her story with a local work group. This simple act sparked a wave of kindness. In the days that followed, after their shifts, drivers took turns visiting Li in her hospital room.
They brought various gifts: milk, snacks, stuffed animals, and books. Some drivers even finished their shifts early to spend more time chatting with Li. Upon arriving at the hospital, the drivers would stand quietly in the hallway, maintaining order to avoid disturbing the patient's rest, a testament to their respect and empathy.
Tran, one of the visiting drivers, explained his motivation: he visited Li out of sympathy for her difficult situation. Meanwhile, Huang, another driver, traveled nearly three hours from Guangzhou to reach the Foshan hospital. "In the past, I had customers who offered me drinks. Now, I want to reciprocate by helping others", Huang recounted, expressing his desire to pay forward the kindness he had received.

Following these visits, Li began to eat more and became more open with people, showing a noticeable improvement in her spirits. Her touching story quickly spread beyond the driver community. A police officer and a woman who had previously undergone cancer treatment also visited her. Even a driver in Yunnan, hundreds of kilometers away, arranged for a fresh bouquet of flowers to be delivered to her room.
Li was discharged from the hospital on 20/4 after her health stabilized. She is currently awaiting compatible bone marrow test results from her younger brother to proceed to the next stage of treatment. "I never thought so many people would come to encourage me," Li said. "They accompanied me, making me very grateful."
