Young people plan year-end with AI on Galaxy Z Fold7

At 28, Phuong Nhi views AI on the Galaxy Z Fold7 as a "strategist" for life discussions, transforming ideas into plans during the busy year-end period.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 features deeply integrated AI technology, offering a new approach where the phone acts as a companion tool, helping users capture and develop spontaneous ideas throughout the day.

Phuong Nhi, a content creator in Ho Chi Minh City, shared that after 3 months of using the Galaxy Z Fold7, she tends to converse more with AI, rather than just using familiar applications. Voice interactions in Vietnamese via Gemini Live have helped Nhi develop a habit of asking questions, taking notes, and discussing new ideas as they arise. "It feels like talking to a friend who understands my habits, responds quickly, and offers reasonable suggestions," Nhi said.

On the Galaxy Z Fold7, AI responds based on usage history, the type of content users typically handle, and the current context. When Nhi wanted to start planning for the busy year-end period and 2026 but lacked clear direction, she simply asked the system for suggestions. Using existing information from her notes and work calendar, Gemini proposed target groups, broke down tasks, and created a plan in Samsung Notes.

According to Nhi, a key convenience is the continuous update capability. When a user has a new idea, they just tell the AI. The system automatically adjusts the plan, adds goals, or changes timings accordingly. These actions flow seamlessly between chat, notes, calendar, and browser, eliminating the need for users to manually switch between applications.

Nhi also noted that many small daily tasks are handled more quickly. For instance, when scheduling an appointment, she simply states the command, "add lunch schedule this Wednesday at 12 h," and the AI automatically inputs the information into Google Calendar. For ideas needing to be remembered, the system suggests saving them directly to Samsung Notes or categorizing them for easier retrieval later.

Similarly, Trung Kien, 27, a freelance MC in Hanoi, uses AI on the Galaxy Z Fold7 to manage his workload, which intensifies towards the year-end. The increasing volume of event projects requires him to constantly move between filming sessions and script meetings. "If I don't record them immediately, many small ideas get forgotten," he said.

During busy show days, Kien often speaks briefly to Gemini Live to handle immediate tasks. Upon receiving client information, he quickly recites key points for the AI to convert into a task list or a preliminary script outline in Samsung Notes. Missed conversations during online meetings are also summarized by the AI, saving Kien from reviewing entire videos. He also uses AI to assist with MC scriptwriting, suggesting highlights for his hosting segments.

Users believe the most notable aspect is not the number of features, but how everything operates without interruption. The connectivity between applications within the Samsung ecosystem makes planning, organizing work, or creative note-taking feel natural, akin to handwriting or direct communication with a personal assistant.

According to Samsung, many other young users, besides Nhi and Kien, are also leveraging AI as a tool to support their work, especially during the busy year-end period. This generation of young users is forming new habits with AI, shifting from information retrieval to managing tasks, planning, and organizing their personal lives.

While mobile manufacturers explore AI in various ways, the experience on the Galaxy Z Fold7 demonstrates a different approach. AI is integrated as a part of daily life, providing just enough support and blending into user habits. For young professionals working in flexible environments, AI becomes a tool to transform fleeting ideas into clear plans, thereby expanding creative space directly on their phones.
