Car carrying groom's family to meet bride's family in multi-vehicle accident

A 16-seater car transporting 14 members of a groom's family to meet the bride's family collided with a motorbike and a container truck in Kim Hoa commune on the morning of 12/5.

On 12/5, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on ho chi minh road in Kim Hoa commune, ha tinh province. Around 9h, a 16-seater car, carrying 14 members of a groom's family from son tay commune (formerly huong son district) to vu quang commune to discuss wedding arrangements, collided with a container truck and a motorbike traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision severely injured the 43-year-old motorcyclist, who was initially hospitalized and then transferred to a provincial hospital for advanced care. Occupants of the passenger car and the container truck experienced dazed states, and some sustained injuries. Medical facilities in the huong son and vu quang areas provided examinations, but specific details about their conditions remain unavailable.

The crash scene revealed extensive damage. The 16-seater car and the container truck both bore significant front-end damage, including shattered windshields and detached front bumpers. The 16-seater's left front wheel was nearly torn from its axle. The motorbike lay deformed by the roadside. The road surface displayed numerous brake marks and scattered oil spills, underscoring the impact's severity.

The traffic police department of ha tinh provincial police quickly responded, dispatching officers to direct traffic and rescue vehicles to tow away the wreckage. By noon, authorities cleared the scene.

Authorities are currently investigating the accident's cause.
