Qatar Airways faced significant disruptions, canceling flights from Hanoi to Doha, Qatar. This included flight QR977 on 28/2 with 384 passengers, QR985 on 1/3 with 247 passengers, and QR983 on 1/3 with 292 passengers. Flight QR977, scheduled to depart on the evening of 1/3 with 361 passengers, is awaiting flight information. Additionally, two Qatar Airways cargo flights from Hanoi to Doha were suspended.
At Tan Son Nhat, Qatar Airways canceled multiple flights on 1-2/3. These included QR975 on 1/3 to Doha with over 300 passengers, QR971 with over 200 passengers, and QR975 on 2/3 to Doha with over 200 passengers.
Emirates canceled flight EK395 from Hanoi to Dubai on 1/3, impacting 153 passengers. Another Emirates flight departing on 2/3 is awaiting updates.
Etihad Airways also canceled flight EY431 from Hanoi to Abu Dhabi on 1/3, affecting 276 passengers.

To assist affected travelers, ticket offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are open for rebooking and other procedures. International airlines have deployed staff at airport counters to guide passengers on itinerary changes, compensation, and hotel arrangements. Transit passengers in Hanoi whose flights were canceled have been accommodated in hotels by the airlines. Updates for the flight scheduled for the evening of 1/3 will be continuously provided to passengers.
The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate due to military activities involving the US-Israel and Iran. From 28/2, countries including Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Israel announced airspace closures or restrictions to ensure national security.
