Passenger train collides with container, driver trapped in cabin

A passenger train traveling on the north-south line collided with a container truck in the Ngoc Hoi area, causing the container to overturn, severe damage to the train and truck fronts, and the driver to become trapped.

Around 20:00 on 25/2, a passenger train traveling on the north-south line collided with a container truck while passing through Ngoc Hoi street. The powerful impact caused the container to overturn, and both the front of the truck and the train's locomotive were severely dented and deformed.

The container truck driver was trapped inside the cabin. By 21:20 that same day, rescue forces were still cutting into the cabin to access and extricate the victim.

Following the collision, the train service was temporarily halted to facilitate rescue operations and scene management.
