This year, GameVerse 2026 brings together over 50 booths from various publishers, providing an interactive space for attendees to try out games, and engage with KOLs and the community.

Concurrent with the exhibition area, Esports tournaments stand as a main pillar of the event. Highlights include the SEA Esports Nations Cup, along with showmatches and finals for popular titles such as Crossfire, PUBG Mobile, and FC Mobile. According to organizers, integrating international tournaments into the event underscores efforts to establish Vietnam as a regional hub for large-scale Esports activities, while also providing local gamers access to a professional competitive environment.

In addition to the competitions, the cosplay zone is expanded into a dedicated area, hosting activities throughout both days. These range from interactions with international cosplayers and cosplay competitions to parades and artist booths.

From a professional standpoint, discussion panels and workshops continue to foster connections between businesses and regulatory bodies. The content focuses on Esports, cultivating a healthy gaming environment, and developing indie games, addressing core issues relevant to the industry. These sessions also serve as platforms for sharing experiences, updating on trends, and shaping the market's long-term direction.

Business-to-business (B2B) matching is another notable highlight, with a dedicated area for industry entities to meet and explore cooperation opportunities.

Beyond the competitions and professional networking, Vietnam GameVerse 2026 also offers entertainment with a mini concert scheduled for 7 PM on 9/5. The program features artists such as: 24k.Right, Wxrdie, Khang Ki, IndieK, and DJ Huy OEG, contributing to the event's vibrancy and creating a memorable musical experience.

The Game Hub, starting at 9 AM on 8/5, hosts the final pitching round for indie game projects. This activity reflects the growing trend of small studios and their increasing participation in the market. Concurrently, the Vietnam Game Forum will host discussion sessions and cooperation signing ceremonies. Content focuses on industry development strategies, policies, and collaboration opportunities among businesses.

The Esports All Star Fan Meeting takes place at 11 AM on 8/5 and 3 PM on 9/5. Attendees can meet and interact directly with players from teams like: GAM Esports, Saigon Phantom, and SuperNova.

Notably, the Vietnam Game Awards will be held at 7 PM on 8/5 to honor outstanding products and individuals. Organizers report that this year's event saw record-breaking engagement with millions of votes. Fierce contests in categories like Game Viet of the Year, Excellent Esports Team, Esports Tournament of the Year, Excellent Publisher, and Most Loved Game Community constantly changed leadership positions.

Vietnam GameVerse is a major annual event for the Vietnamese game industry, directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It is jointly organized by the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, VnExpress newspaper, FPT Online Joint Stock Company, and the Vietnam Game Alliance.
