The event is co-organized by HDBank, Unique Company, and the Ho Chi Minh City Athletics Federation, under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports. It is also supported by UNESCO. The race will be held in Can Gio district, a world biosphere reserve considered the "green lung" of Ho Chi Minh City.

The course is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), allowing runners to use their results to register for international races. A key feature of the route is its passage through lush forests, allowing runners to witness the sunrise over the mangroves and breathe fresh air.
The event offers various distances: Kids Run, 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, and full marathon. There are also accompanying events such as the "wife-carrying" race and a relay race. This year's event continues to attract elite runners like Dan Quyet and many others from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas. After the race, runners can access a free recovery zone with massage services, nutritional supplements, and expert advice.

Alongside the competition, the event also features community activities. Runners can participate in beach cleanups, tree planting, and donating Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and bicycles to underprivileged children, promoting Can Gio and the Nghinh Ong Festival, a national intangible cultural heritage, to international friends.
With over 3,000 participants each year, the HDBank Green Marathon is considered an annual sporting and community event, where each stride contributes to creating sustainable value for society and the environment.

This year, the event reaffirms HDBank's commitment to integrating business with social responsibility, focusing on the message of green living, health, and environmental protection. For the first time, organizers are introducing a digital finance experience through a new-generation digital banking super app, connecting technology with life and sports.
