The "81-year journey - For national security" run takes place from 31/7 to 2/8 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet. The run is part of the Sports Festival, a large-scale sports event organized by the Public Security Sports Association in collaboration with NovaWorld. Upon registration, runners can combine their race with observing various competitions happening concurrently.
The entire Sports Festival series is expected to attract 17,000 athletes and guests. From 27/7 to 31/7, runners and their families can watch and cheer on athletes competing in the national U23 youth triathlon championship and the 2026 summer shooting cup (30/7-2/8). Meanwhile, the ASEAN police and southern public security force golf tournament, along with the international 35+ tennis tournament, will take place on 1/8 and 2/8.
A highlight of the event series is the Sports Festival opening ceremony, scheduled for the evening of 1/8 at the main square. The event is expected to draw 10,000 people, featuring artistic performances, music, and fireworks.

Beyond the competitions, NovaWorld Phan Thiet offers various entertainment and relaxation options for athletes and their families. With its operational entertainment ecosystem, this urban area boasts attractions such as a beachfront amusement park, a water park, Safari Cafe, and Wonder Hill, a scenic ocean-view area. The urban area spans approximately 1,000 hectares with 7 km of private coastline, located about two hours from TP HCM via expressway, making it suitable for runners and their families to combine the race with a weekend getaway.
In addition to entertainment, NovaWorld Phan Thiet's coastal area features a concentration of restaurants and cafes, ideal for post-race relaxation. Runners can also visit Mui Ne, Bau Trang, or Phan Thiet fishing village, all destinations not far from NovaWorld.

The "81-year journey - For national security" run is currently open for registration across four distances: 5, 10, 21, and 42 km. Athletes will compete on the coastal route and within the NovaWorld complex.
The race commemorates the 81st anniversary of the Public Security Force's traditional day. Registered athletes will receive a race shirt and a finisher medal featuring patriotic details and emblems of the Public Security Force.
