Nguyen Thuy Linh's meet-and-greet event took place from 1:30 PM at the Herbalife sponsor booth, located within the VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 exhibition area at Hau River Park. Many fans gathered around the stage early, continuously chanting the athlete's name upon her appearance. Several brought phones, running shirts, and accessories to take photos and request autographs.

The "badminton beauty" appeared in dynamic sportswear, participating in interactive games and posing with her fans. The booth area became lively as hundreds of people stood in front of the stage, watching the interaction with the player born in 1997.

Thuy Linh is an ambassador who has accompanied Herbalife's activities in many VnExpress Marathon events. She began competing professionally at 14 years old, holding the title of Vietnam's top female badminton player for seven years and currently ranking 23rd in the world. She represented Vietnam in two consecutive Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, and won three consecutive Vietnam Open titles from 2022 to 2024.

In 2025, Nguyen Thuy Linh impressed by defeating Ratchanok Intanon at the World Badminton Championships in Paris, France, thereby advancing to the second round. This victory over a former world number one player is considered a notable milestone for Vietnamese badminton on the international stage.

According to Linh, a proper nutrition regimen plays a crucial role in maintaining the physical endurance needed for professional competition. The player stated that she always prioritizes health care, building a comprehensive diet to ensure a good physical foundation and a positive mindset during training and competition.

"Partnering with Herbalife is wonderful for me. Through community sports activities, I want to spread the message to everyone about prioritizing health care, eating well, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle," she shared.

Alongside the meet-and-greet with Thuy Linh, the Herbalife booth also organized mini-games, cheerleading dances, and other physical activities over two days, 8-9/5. Participants had the chance to receive gifts such as tote bags, t-shirts, and nutritional products when checking in or participating in challenges at the booth. According to the organizers, 900 gift sets, including shirts and accessories, were reserved for the earliest Herbalife members to check in.

Herbalife, a nutrition brand founded in 1980 in the US, is present in over 90 countries and territories. In Vietnam, Herbalife has provided nutritional sponsorship to many elite athletes since 2009. The company has also been a nutrition partner for the VnExpress Marathon system over the past five years.

The VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026, held on 10/5, is the opening tournament of this year's VnExpress Marathon summer series. The event attracted over 10,000 athletes participating in distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km, traversing many characteristic routes of Tay Do land (Can Tho). This year, the series will continue to take place in locations such as Da Nang, Vung Tau, Nha Trang, Nghe An, and Hai Phong.
