The signing ceremony took place on the morning of 8/5 during the opening of VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026. Under the agreement, Herbalife will serve as the nutrition partner for three races: VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026, VnExpress Marathon Nghe An 2026, and VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2026. Notably, Herbalife will be the diamond partner for two new races debuting in 2026: VnExpress Da Nang International Marathon Herbalife Cup and VnExpress Vung Tau International Half Marathon Herbalife Cup.

As a nutrition partner, Herbalife will provide supplements in race kits, support nutrition stations along the racecourse, and offer nutrition and physical recovery counseling for runners. Products such as protein supplements, electrolyte drinks, and vitamins will be available at nutrition stations along the course, helping maintain stable physical condition and improve athlete performance. Through this, the two entities will jointly enhance the quality of the events, making VnExpress Marathon a favorite destination for running enthusiasts.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Thanh Dat, Senior Communications Director of Herbalife Vietnam, stated that partnering with the VnExpress Marathon series for many years aligns with the company's direction of promoting an active lifestyle and proactive health management within the community.

A Herbalife representative emphasized that the company aims not only to promote its brand but also to create practical activities that connect runners, spectators, and the sports community. "We want to contribute to more people forming a habit of regular exercise combined with balanced nutrition, thereby living healthier every day," Dat shared.

Le Van Anh, a representative of the VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 Organizing Committee, said this year's season is expected to attract about 10,000 athletes, indicating the appeal of Can Tho and the VnExpress Marathon series to the running community. According to her, the event is not only a sporting arena but also a "cultural bridge", helping runners discover Can Tho's dynamic, modern image and rich Mekong Delta identity.

The organizing committee expects Herbalife's continued partnership with VM to enhance the athlete experience through nutrition support, physical recovery, and health care activities throughout the season.

Herbalife is a nutrition brand founded in 1980 in the US, operating in more than 90 countries and territories. In Vietnam, Herbalife has been active since 2009, participating in many cooperative programs with sports organizations such as the Vietnam Olympic Committee, the Vietnam Paralympic Committee, and the Vietnam Football Federation. Besides sponsoring professional athletes, the company also supports many community sports activities to encourage healthy exercise habits.

VnExpress Marathon, operated by VnExpress Newspaper and FPT Online, is currently held annually in many localities such as Ha Noi, TP HCM, Da Nang, Hue, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, and Hai Phong. After six years, the series has attracted nearly 500,000 participants. In 2026, VM will continue to take place in Da Nang, Nha Trang, Nghe An, Vung Tau, Hai Phong, promising new experiences for the running community.
