The ASEAN Cup 2026, returning after a two-year cycle, kicks off on 24/7, marking the 30th anniversary of the Southeast Asian football championship. This year's tournament is particularly notable as the Vietnam national team participates as defending champions. It will also be the second ASEAN Cup where the "Golden Star Warriors" compete under the guidance of coach Kim Sang-sik.
FPT Play will fully broadcast Vietnam's journey to defend the championship title in this region's premier tournament. All matches will be live-streamed across various platforms: terrestrial, cable, satellite, internet protocol television (IPTV), internet, mobile, public screenings, and social media platforms throughout Vietnam. This marks the third consecutive ASEAN Cup, starting from 2022, for which FPT Play holds exclusive broadcasting and media rights.
This year's tournament continues to adopt a home-and-away format, with group stage, semi-final, and final matches rotating among participating member nations. The Vietnam national team will play two home matches at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi), facing Singapore on 31/7 and Cambodia on 7/8. Their two away matches will be against Timor Leste on 24/7 and Indonesia on 3/8.
In addition, FPT Play will simultaneously maintain schedules for other major tournaments, including the live and complete broadcast of the World Cup 2026 on VTV channels, the English Premier League 2026-2027, the ASEAN Club Championship 2026-2027, and many other exciting tournaments across various sports such as VBA, NBA, UFC, Pickleball World Cup, and PPA Tour Asia.
