The race will be held on 26/7 at Hoiana Resort & Golf, a luxury integrated resort recognized by the World Travel Awards as a world leader for two consecutive years (2024-2025), featuring 4 km of private beach.
The triangular swim course is designed with fewer turns than U-shape or T-shape formats, helping athletes maintain speed and reduce collisions. Race director Duong Hai Anh noted that the sea at Hoiana during summer offers stable water levels, good visibility, and a wide, gently sloping sandy beach, facilitating smooth transitions between swimming and running.
The run course traverses the resort grounds before joining the main road connecting to the south. The flat road surface, with its good asphalt quality, is ideal for achieving personal bests. Nguyen Thi Khanh Ly, 35, the Aquaman 2022 runner-up, described it as a dream venue for the two combined disciplines.

The race medals feature a multi-layered embossed design, depicting a runner in the center with two swimmers heading in opposite directions. The background combines three patterns inspired by central Vietnamese culture: fireworks, ocean waves, and lanterns.
This year introduces two new categories for beginners: Rush Aqua (300m swim and 3km run) and Flash Aqua (200m swim and 2km run). The longest category, Aquaman Solo, consists of a 2km swim and a 21km run. Aqua Kid is open for children aged 6-10, featuring a 200m swim and a 1km run.
Athletes purchasing individual bibs can book rooms at Hoiana for 2,3 million VND per night, approximately one million VND less than the listed price. Additionally, the organizers provide free shuttle buses running every two hours, connecting the resort with the centers of Hoi An and Da Nang, to assist athletes with transportation.
Du Thi Mai Anh, Vice President of Destination Marketing for Hoiana Resort & Golf, stated that the resort aims to offer athletes an experience that explores coastal landscapes, resort amenities, and a lifestyle, beyond just a competition venue.
Aquaman Vietnam is the first swim-run duathlon in Vietnam, part of the VnExpress Marathon series. After three seasons held in Tra Co (Quang Ninh), Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan), and Ho Tram (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), this year marks the event's debut in Da Nang.
