The "Kids Racing Talent Search 2026" program has been launched by Honda Racing Vietnam. According to a unit representative, the 2026 selection program is designed as a structured training platform. It aims to help children interested in racing gradually enter a professional competitive environment while ensuring safety, discipline, and sports standards.
Participants in the program will experience the atmosphere of a professional racing team from the initial stage. They will undergo regular training and develop vehicle control skills, from basic to advanced, guided by a team of coaches. This is a crucial starting point for young racers to develop racing conduct, speed control, and tactical thinking—key elements in motorsports.
Instead of focusing on short-term achievements, the program prioritizes building foundational skills and a competitive mindset. This approach reassures parents as their children participate in the training process. "Before becoming a professional racer, every journey begins with passion, guided correctly and safely," a unit representative stated.

The program's long-term goal is to discover and nurture young racing talent in Vietnam. Selected candidates will receive a long-term development path with support from the racing team. This includes opportunities to participate in training programs both domestically and internationally, such as in Japan and Thailand, and to compete in official races from regional levels to major motorsports events.
Honda Racing Vietnam emphasizes that selection criteria are not based solely on current skills. They also evaluate development potential, a keen learning spirit, and the ability to commit long-term to the sport. Registration closes on 18/1. The direct selection rounds will take place over two days, 31/1 and 1/2/2026, at the Dai Nam Race Track in Ho Chi Minh City.
Honda Racing Vietnam is an official racing team under Honda's global motorsports system. The team currently participates in and organizes many activities related to motorcycle racing, from youth training and technical coaching to fielding athletes in domestic and regional competitions.
