Schumacher, 57, can now sit in a wheelchair and is moved around the family's private properties, sources close to the family shared. This update comes over 12 years after the racing icon sustained severe brain injuries in a skiing accident in late 2013.

Following the severe skiing accident at the Meribel resort in France, Schumacher completely withdrew from public life. His family has since kept his health status strictly private for many years, with access limited to a very small circle of close relatives and trusted friends.
Schumacher currently divides his time between an estate valued at over 40 million USD in Majorca, Spain, and a home near 70 million USD in Gland, on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland. His wife, Corinna Schumacher, oversees his daily care, supported by a team of nurses and therapists working 24/7. The costs for this care reportedly reach tens of thousands of USD weekly, amounting to millions of USD annually.
The family's commitment to Schumacher's privacy remains paramount. He has not appeared publicly since the accident, and no official images have been released. Last year, several former employees who attempted to sell photos of Schumacher in a vulnerable state were convicted. Reports suggesting his appearance at daughter Gina's wedding in 2024 were unconfirmed and subsequently dismissed.

Recently, rumors circulated that Schumacher is conscious but almost unable to move or communicate. However, according to Daily Mail sources, this description is inaccurate. One source indicated that Schumacher can understand some of what is happening around him, though not entirely. The Schumacher family has not issued any official comment regarding the newly published information.
Michael Schumacher was born on 3/1/1969 in Hurth, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He shares the record with Lewis Hamilton for 7 world championships, securing titles in 1994, 1995 (with Benetton), and 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 (with Ferrari). He also co-holds the record with Hamilton for winning at least one race in 15 consecutive seasons, from 1992-2006. Consequently, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest F1 drivers in history.
