German newspaper BILD revealed that 24-year-old midfielder Michael Olise has a 20-month-old daughter with Fatima Zaunbrecher, 34. This marks Zaunbrecher's first public disclosure of her private relationship with Olise.
"I do not understand how someone can be so indifferent to their own child", Zaunbrecher told BILD on July 21. "His coldness has completely devastated me".
Zaunbrecher told the German newspaper that Olise has not spoken directly to her since the birth of their daughter, Aaliyah Noor. She stated all communication between them now goes through lawyers. The Dusseldorf resident also described the child support amount Olise offered as "unbelievably low".
However, Sports Mail reports that Olise has never refused to meet his daughter. The publication also stated that the French player proposed an appropriate child support amount.

Zaunbrecher recounted meeting Olise via Instagram in 2022, when he played for Crystal Palace, prior to his transfer to Bayern. They exchanged messages for about two months before she traveled to London for their first date.
"We liked each other from the first meeting", Zaunbrecher added. "He has Algerian heritage, and I am Moroccan; our two countries are neighbors. He also dislikes crowds or parties, just like me".
She stated that Olise attempted to kiss her on their first date but she declined, wanting them to get to know each other better. "He respected that", she said. "Later, I frequently flew to London to meet him".
Their relationship subsequently deteriorated. Zaunbrecher claimed Olise spent excessive time playing PlayStation instead of with her. She also suspected the French forward was unfaithful.
Zaunbrecher revealed that just two weeks after their breakup, prompted by her suspicion of Olise seeing someone else, she discovered her pregnancy. She stated Olise requested a DNA test in Munich, which confirmed him as Aaliyah's biological father.
Meanwhile, sources close to Olise deny the player has refused contact with Zaunbrecher and their daughter or shirked his parental responsibilities.
Following the BILD article, Olise's Instagram account received numerous comments from fans. The 24-year-old player then disabled comments on his personal page.
Alongside the article, the German newspaper also published documents it claims are DNA test results confirming Olise as the girl's father. To date, Olise has not publicly commented on his ex-girlfriend's allegations.
The personal life scandal erupted as Olise's career reached its peak. After a season with the Bundesliga Player of the Season title, 25 goals, and 28 assists, the Bayern midfielder continued to excel at the World Cup 2026, contributing 7 assists in 8 matches. The French star broke Pele's 56-year-old record for most assists in a single World Cup.
