Over 3,000 people queue for Vietnam GameVerse 2026

The first morning of Vietnam GameVerse 2026 saw a sea of people queuing to attend Vietnam's largest gaming festival.

In its inaugural year of ticket sales, Vietnam GameVerse 2026 recorded 30,000 tickets sold before its opening on 8/5 at the SECC Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighting the event's appeal to the community.

From 7 a.m., thousands of young people queued outside SECC's Hall B, eagerly awaiting entry. The line stretched for hundreds of meters, growing longer as the opening time approached.

Ngoc Ha, 24, an office worker from Ho Chi Minh City, said she arrived at 6:30 a.m. due to excitement. This marks Ha's first time at the event, and she looks forward to participating in Play Together's birthday celebration activities. She registered to attend both days. Meanwhile, Minh Tri, 29, traveled by motorbike from Tay Ninh at 5 a.m. Attending GameVerse for the second time, he hoped to experience many games and receive gifts, with FC Online and FC Mobile being his two most anticipated titles.

Throughout the morning, numerous gaming, cosplay, and esports groups on social media continuously updated schedules, shared activities, and sought tickets for Vietnam GameVerse 2026. The higher-than-expected ticket sales indicate a growing demand for direct participation in gaming, entertainment, and community-building activities.

This year, the event features over 100 booths from various publishers, allowing gamers to directly experience games, interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and connect with the community. Esports tournaments like the SEA Esports Nations Cup, along with showmatches and finals for titles such as crossfire, pubg mobile, and fc mobile, are held throughout. Young attendees were eager with their tickets for the 4th season of Vietnam GameVerse. Taking place on 8-9/5, the event continues to expand its scale with more diverse activities.

Beyond professional activities, GameVerse 2026 offers an experiential space with entertainment programs, community interactions, and artistic performances, making the event a true festival.

Crowds filled the SECC, the venue for Vietnam GameVerse 2026.

Of the 30,000 tickets sold, half were for the event's first day. By 10 a.m. on opening day, 8/5, over 3,000 people were inside SECC after hours of queuing. In the photo, young attendees stand before the Roblox booth and take photos at a photobooth as mementos.

Under the theme "Do local, Go global - Together to reach the big sea", the festival aims to connect the domestic gaming ecosystem with the international market. Vietnam GameVerse 2026 clearly demonstrates a sustainable development strategy: using Vietnam's internal strength as a foundation and springboard to connect, integrate, and conquer the international market.

Vietnam GameVerse was first held in 2023 and quickly became a large-scale event, gathering publishers, developers, investors, and the Vietnamese gaming community. Each year, the event continuously expands in scale, improves content quality, and increases its regional influence.
