Cole Palmer scored three goals for Chelsea in their 3-1 victory over Wolves during premier league round 25 on the evening of 7/2. The English player successfully converted two penalties in the 13th and 35th minutes, then finished from inside the box to complete his hat-trick in the 38th minute.
This achievement marks Palmer's fourth premier league hat-trick for Chelsea, setting a new club record. He surpasses legends Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Didier Drogba, and Frank Lampard, who each recorded three hat-tricks.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a star of the early 2000s, scored 69 goals in 136 premier league appearances for Chelsea. Didier Drogba, a key player of the next generation, netted 104 goals in 254 matches and won four premier league titles. Frank Lampard, one of England's best-finishing midfielders, scored 147 goals in 429 matches and also secured four premier league titles.
Palmer also achieved the premier league's third-fastest hat-trick, completing it within the first 38 minutes. He is the only premier league player to score three hat-tricks in a first half.
Palmer joined Chelsea from Man City in 2023. Since then, the Manchester-born player has scored 44 goals in 84 premier league appearances. He ranks as Chelsea's second-highest English goalscorer in the premier league, surpassing John Terry's 41 goals and trailing only Lampard's 147.
Recently, media speculated Palmer was homesick and might join Man Utd. However, coach Liam Rosenior quickly dismissed these rumors. The new coach, who replaced Enzo Maresca, also commented, "Palmer is a world-class player. But this past year, he has played a lot and hasn't had enough rest. When he is in his best form, no one can stop him. I am very happy to work with him".
