Puma introduces Deviate Pure line at VnExpress Da Nang 2026

Puma unveils Deviate Pure running shoes and organizes a series of experiential activities for runners at the VnExpress Danang International Marathon Herbalife Cup 2026, taking place from 17-19/7.

Deviate Pure is a new addition to the Deviate shoe line, developed by Puma for daily runs, speed training, or everyday activities like commuting and city strolls.

The shoe features a new generation nitrofoarm cushioning layer, designed to enhance energy return and provide a softer feel during runs. Unlike some of the brand's high-performance models, the Deviate Pure does not incorporate a pwrplate carbon plate, aiming instead for a more natural and flexible movement experience during tempo runs, interval training, and daily workouts.

According to Puma, the "Purely Fast" development philosophy behind Deviate Pure focuses on delivering a sense of speed while ensuring comfort, allowing runners to use it across various intensities.

Beyond introducing the new product, the brand is hosting accompanying activities. Prior to race day, Puma will collaborate with Da Nang Runners club to organize a Shake Out Run on 17/7 at Bien Dong Park. This activity allows runners to warm up before the race, connect with the community, and directly experience the new shoe.

A Puma representative stated that the Shake Out Run is designed for both race participants and running enthusiasts in Da Nang. In addition to a light run to warm up the body, attendees can try out the Deviate Pure, engage in interactive activities, and receive gifts and vouchers from the brand.

During the expo of the VnExpress Danang International Marathon Herbalife Cup 2026, Puma will also open a Deviate Pure experience zone. Runners can check in, participate in interactive games, learn about the product, and enter a lucky draw for gifts such as: running socks, tote bags, limited edition Puma Marathon bears, and shopping vouchers.

Through its activities at the VnExpress Danang International Marathon Herbalife Cup 2026, the brand aims to bring the Deviate Pure closer to the Vietnamese running community, while continuing to support runners in both training and competition.

Puma is one of the world's leading sports brands, specializing in the design, development, and distribution of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories. For over 75 years, the brand has driven the advancement of sports and culture through innovative products for individuals striving to be their fastest selves.

Beyond its professional performance lines and lifestyle products, Puma consistently connects the world of athletics with popular culture. Through collaborations with renowned designers and brands, the company extends the spirit of sport into fashion and street culture.

The VnExpress Danang International Marathon Herbalife Cup 2026 is expected to attract 13,000 runners. This year, the race aims to become a large-scale event, drawing international participants. The course will guide runners through the dynamic coastal city, showcasing unique landscapes along the Han River and allowing them to conquer iconic bridges.
