Leaders from both parties signed a new cooperation agreement in Hanoi on 28/7, marking the next phase in a relationship established in 2022. Under the agreement, Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (Sabeco) will serve as a partner, committing to accompany "the long-term development of national football", supporting the men's, women's, and U23 national teams in numerous domestic and international tournaments.

Built on shared values of unity, aspiration, and national pride, Sabeco and VFF aim for extensive cooperation. This partnership seeks to spread the positive impact of sports, inspire young players, engage fans, and contribute to national football reaching new milestones in regional and international arenas.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Lester Tan Teck Chuan, General Director of Sabeco, stated that football possesses a unique power, connecting millions of people and fostering a spirit of unity and pride.

"We are honored that VFF continues to trust us and has chosen us as the exclusive beer partner for the national teams. Through this partnership, Bia Saigon hopes to fuel the sustainable development of Vietnamese football, spreading a spirit of solidarity and inspiring national pride within the community," Mr. Lester Tan Teck Chuan said.

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of VFF, noted that continuing the partnership with Bia Saigon for the next three years demonstrates the strong bond and trust between both parties after many years of effective collaboration.

"We believe Sabeco's continued support will not only enhance resources for Vietnamese football but also provide additional motivation for the national teams to pursue higher goals, thereby spreading the positive values of sports to a wide audience of fans and the community," Mr. Nguyen Van Phu added.

Investing in football is part of Sabeco's long-term strategy to promote Vietnamese sports, support young talent, and encourage a balanced, active, and positive lifestyle. Additionally, the company implements various community-focused initiatives that spread the spirit of sports. For example, the "Vietnam Wins Gold" program in 2022 helped connect millions of fans during the 31st SEA Games and supported athletes' training and competition.

From 2023 to 2025, the company sponsored the "Glory of Vietnamese Sports" program, honoring athletes and coaches who achieved outstanding results during the year.
