After police examined the scene, the bodies of the Jota brothers and what remained of the car were towed away for investigation.

What remained at the scene in the early evening of 3/7. Jota died after winning the Premier League with Liverpool in May, the Nations League with the Portugal national team on 8/6, and marrying on 22/6.
Jota's younger brother, Andre Silva, was also a professional player for the second-division team Penafiel, Portugal.
