Police could only identify Jota and his brother through the car's license plate after the traffic accident on the morning of 3/7.

The 28-year-old forward, who scored 133 club goals and 14 for Portugal, died on 3/7 in a car accident.

The footballer married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso shortly before his death.
