A video circulating online shows Churchaev repeatedly slapping, punching, kneeing, and dragging Mamedov across the floor amidst a heated argument. Despite being completely overpowered, the Azerbaijani streamer appeared to continue arguing with Churchaev.
Churchaev attacked streamer Mamedov live on stream on 30/11.
The incident reportedly stemmed from Mamedov, also known as "Subo", angering Churchaev with a joke perceived as insulting. Subo sarcastically suggested that Churchaev should "kneel and crawl before UFC president Dana White to beg for a fighting contract".
Subo's provocative style of interacting with guests was not unusual. However, the atmosphere escalated when Churchaev took offense. The Chechen fighter demanded Subo kneel and apologize, a request that was not met, leading to the violent attack. This occurred despite Subo having paid 30,000 USD to invite Churchaev for the appearance.
According to media reports, Churchaev may face legal repercussions in the UAE for his violent actions. Baku.ws quoted lawyer Maxim Silvestri: "In Dubai, authorities implement measures to ensure public safety. Actions causing injury or physical assault in public or at a workplace can result in severe penalties, including imprisonment. In this specific case, the streamer likely suffered significant harm".

This is not Churchaev's first involvement in altercations. In August 2022, the MMA fighter attacked and threatened Iranian opponent Mohammad Heibati during a podcast in Moscow. In September 2023, a scheduled fight between Churchaev and Shamil Galimov was canceled after the two clashed at a pre-fight press conference.
Churchaev competes in the lightweight MMA division. The Russian-born fighter has participated in over 10 professional fights since 2018, securing 8 victories.
