The Super Early Bird phase typically attracts a large number of runners due to its lowest fees. Early registration helps athletes proactively build training plans and plan travel and accommodation economically. This trend has been observed in many events within the VnExpress Marathon system.
In its first season in Tay Do in 2025, VnExpress Marathon Can Tho recorded over 6,000 registrations in less than three weeks of this phase's ticket sales. Similarly, VM Green Paradise Can Gio 2026 also saw over 5,000 early registrations and had to close registration three weeks ahead of schedule to ensure organizational quality and the best experience for athletes.
Participating runners will receive a race-kit, including necessary items, along with a jersey inspired by the Mekong Delta's riverine life. The design features gradient green hues combined with winding patterns, evoking the characteristic flow of the Tay Do region.
All athletes completing valid distances will receive a finisher medal, highlighting the image of a Mekong Delta woman rowing a boat laden with agricultural products at Cai Rang floating market. The medal is surrounded by details reminiscent of local life such as Binh Thuy communal house, Can Tho bridge, water, and lotus flowers. Runners in the 21km and 42km distances will also receive a finisher shirt if they complete the valid distance.
Beyond the competition, athletes can combine their trip with a journey to explore Cai Rang floating market, stroll along Ninh Kieu wharf, visit Binh Thuy ancient house, Con Son islet, experience orchard life, and enjoy local specialties such as banh xeo, lau mam, hu tieu, banh cong, or Mekong Delta fruits.
The Can Tho City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced it will coordinate with relevant units to ensure security and safety on the race course, continuing to build Can Tho's image as a peaceful yet dynamic destination in the eyes of runners.
