This year marks the sixth season of VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight, again with the message "One night to see a different Hanoi". It is the first night race of its kind in Vietnam. While other domestic races start at dawn, when the night is nearly over, Hanoi Midnight sends athletes onto the course around midnight.

This timing ensures central streets are clear of traffic, while some shops and community areas remain illuminated. Runners can choose distances based on their fitness and personal goals, from the 5km night running experience to the marathon's endurance challenge. Late November also marks Hanoi's transition into winter, adding a unique characteristic to the journey of discovering the capital by foot.
Last season, the race attracted approximately 10,000 athletes, including over 1,000 international runners from 43 countries and territories. This year, Puma continues its partnership as a strategic partner and official apparel sponsor, providing jerseys for athletes across all four distances, along with finisher shirts for those completing the 21km and 42km races.
