Tyra Black is another successful former tennis player, having won 7 International Tennis Federation (ITF) titles.
After transitioning to pickleball, the American quickly became a top name in PPA Tour events. She currently has a contract with the Miami team in Major League Pickleball (MLP). The 24-year-old recently won the women's doubles title at the North Carolina Open earlier this year. Black is one of the fastest-rising players in PPA Tour history, breaking into the top 10 just three months after switching to pickleball. She is currently ranked 5th in women's doubles and 8th in mixed doubles according to the PPA Tour rankings.

Eugenie Bouchard is a well-known figure in the tennis world, considered one of the most beautiful players in history with a bright face and ideal physique.
Once a promising young player with a runner-up finish at Wimbledon in 2014, Bouchard's performance declined due to injuries before she transitioned to pickleball two years ago. With her high-level tennis skills, Bouchard hasn't had much difficulty playing pickleball. She recently signed a three-year contract with the PPA Tour, is a member of the Phoenix Flames in MLP, and is currently ranked 17th in women's singles. Notably, Bouchard is about to retire from tennis after the National Bank Open in Montreal at the end of 27/7/2025. Her contract with the PPA Tour includes a clause allowing her to play tennis at any time.

Parris Todd is another prominent figure in the world of pickleball, ranked 4th in women's singles on the PPA Tour.
She joined MLP in 2023 and plays for the Columbus Sliders. At 26, Todd has played 573 matches and won 344 of them. She has won 26 medals of various kinds, achieving the rare feat of winning singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles at the 2023 US Open. In addition to her exceptional talent, Todd has a striking appearance and has built her own fashion brand.

Jackie Kawamoto is a Japanese-American player born and raised in Hawaii. She is one of the most highly educated pickleball stars, holding a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Dayton.
At Dayton, Jackie played tennis and later joined her twin sister in PPA Tour pickleball tournaments. She is currently ranked 9th in women's doubles with her sister and 12th in mixed doubles. In 2023, the Kawamoto sisters won the women's doubles at the Beer City Open and consistently rank in the PPA Tour's top 10.

Lina Padegimaite is a unique star on this list, transitioning from tennis to pickleball after taking time off to have her first child in 2020.
She initially started playing pickleball to get back in shape during her child's nap times. In a short time, Lina decided to turn professional. At 32, she is a certified professional pickleball coach in the US and is currently ranked 15th in women's singles and 30th in women's doubles.

Jessie Irvine was a promising young talent on the WTA Tour, appearing on Tennis Channel programs as a teenager.
She started playing pickleball in 2018 when the sport was still relatively unknown in the US. A year later, Irvine turned pro, and today she is one of the few athletes ranked in the top 5 in singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. She won her first major tournament, the Tournament of Champions, in 2019 and was runner-up at the Vegas Championships in 2020.

Anna Bright was once ranked 13th in the US junior tennis rankings but quickly found success in pickleball.
She has been playing pickleball full-time since 2022 and is ranked third on the PPA Tour in both women's and mixed doubles, winning a total of 76 medals in these two categories. At the 2022 MLP Newport Beach tournament, she won the women's doubles title and was also the tournament MVP.

Riza Zalameda is a Filipino-American player who was once ranked 76th in women's doubles on the WTA Tour.
In 2023, Zalameda transitioned to pickleball and has competed in 22 matches. She is still a tennis coach at Columbia University and is also involved in various fashion, sports, and travel promotions.

Catherine Parenteau is one of the best pickleball players in Canada today.
She has been training in pickleball since 2015 under renowned coach Simone Jardim, known as the "Serena Williams of pickleball." According to the PPA Tour rankings from earlier this year, Parenteau is ranked second in women's doubles, fourth in mixed doubles, and seventh in women's singles. She is the captain of the LA Mad Drops in MLP and was a successful partner of Vietnamese-American player Quang Duong last season. Off the court, she represents several sports brands and is an online fitness coach.
