This is the first time the PPA Asia Tour 2025 has been held in Vietnam, attracting both amateur and professional players during three weeks of online registration. The prize for the singles champion is 1,800 USD, and 3,000 USD for the doubles champions. The ranking points system remains the same: 1,000 points for the winner, 800 for the runner-up, and decreasing to 100 points, equivalent to 150 USD in prize money for reaching the round of 16 in the Main Draw.
This is also PPA Asia's first outdoor tournament, unlike previous events held in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Japan. The organizers have ensured that the courts meet PPA Asia's standards. The tournament will return to Vietnam in the future, with Da Nang as the next host city.
