Vietnam identifies opponents for FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026

Vietnam has been drawn into first division group B alongside Thailand, the Philippines, and Pakistan for the expanded FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026.

The world football federation FIFA has decided that 14 national teams will participate in the inaugural tournament. Eleven teams are from the Southeast Asian region: Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Timor Leste, and Brunei. The three invited guest teams are India, Hong Kong, and Pakistan.
