In an interview with Brazilian entertainment news site Leodias, Virginia Fonseca, Vinicius' girlfriend, shared private details about life with the star. According to Virginia, Vinicius' life is almost entirely controlled with a strict schedule for daily activities, rest, diet, treatment, and products used daily. "Everything must be scheduled, and you have to adhere to it all strictly", she stated. This level of control sometimes creates unusual situations for her, affecting their private life.

Virginia recounted an incident when her gynecologist prescribed a topical medication. She initially worried that simple contact with it could have severe consequences for Vinicius. "As soon as I heard them say that, I started to tremble. I thought: 'Oh my God, could I be using something not allowed?' I swear I started shaking", she remembered.

Although the product was later confirmed not to affect doping test results, Vinicius still requires his girlfriend to notify him in advance of any medication she uses. "He told me that anything I use, I have to tell him first. If I have to use a topical medication, I need to go through his physical therapist, because sometimes there's still a chance of a positive doping test", Virginia explained.
