"Around 80% of the course traverses areas with greenery or open spaces, including mangrove forests and coastal sections. This represents the highest percentage of green coverage among current VnExpress Marathon events," stated a representative for the race series.
The organizers revealed that all distances will start and finish in the coastal area within the Vinhomes Green Paradise project, a 2.870 ha ecological urban area. This expansive, airy location allows runners to experience the sea breeze. After leaving the coastal area, runners will explore Can Gio's renowned green routes, such as Duyen Hai and Rung Sac.

The 42km distance stands out, with most of its journey taking place on Rung Sac road, a route through mangrove forests dubbed the "green lung" of TP HCM. Along both sides of the path, a dense mangrove ecosystem provides natural shade and abundant oxygen. Running coaches suggest that competing in such a green environment helps reduce heat radiation, supports respiration, and maintains runners' stamina during long races.
Additionally, the changing scenery between forest and sea creates a unique appeal, mitigating monotony. The course design also aims to optimize athlete performance, featuring minimal turns or U-turns. Runners will experience straight, flat sections, helping them maintain a steady pace to achieve personal records (PRs).

As the 37th event in the VnExpress Marathon series, VM Green Paradise Can Gio offers a distinct experience. The organizers highlight that while Hue is known for its heritage, Ha Long for its bay, and Quy Nhon for the Thi Nai sea-crossing bridge, Can Gio is one of the rare venues that combines both forest and sea in a single journey. This makes the race appealing to runners who embrace a green lifestyle and seek sports tourism destinations close to TP HCM.
Super Early Bird registration is currently open until 31/3. Ticket prices start at 330.000 VND for the 5km distance, 450.000 VND for 10km, 600.000 VND for 21km, and 790.000 VND for the 42km distance. After this phase, bib prices will progressively increase.
