The 5km race starts at 6:15 a.m., following Tran Phu Street and turning back near the Tran Hung Dao intersection. With its flat terrain, this route is suitable for beginners or those seeking a leisurely experience rather than a competitive race.
The 10km and 21km races both start at 4 a.m. Similar to the 5km route, the 10km course stays along the coast, passing the Institute of Oceanography, and turning back near the Vinpearl area. The primarily flat terrain is ideal for runners to maintain their pace.
The 21km route has undergone significant changes compared to the previous year. While in 2024, runners turned left onto the Luong Son pass around the 9km mark, this year they will continue straight onto Pham Van Dong Boulevard in North Nha Trang. From there, they will explore the Libera Nha Trang urban area, passing the Do Theater and turning around at the roundabout near the Villa Le Corail hotel, A Gran Melia. The loop then returns to the square via Nguyen Co Thach Street.
The 42km race, starting earliest at 2:30 a.m., remains the most challenging, combining inner-city and coastal sections. Compared to the previous year, the route features two adjustments. In the city center, instead of running straight from Nguyen Trai to the beach along Ly Tu Trong Street, runners will turn onto Le Thanh Ton and Tran Hung Dao streets before rejoining the coastal road. This change improves traffic flow and creates a more balanced pace for the night run.
For the hill section, runners will approach Luong Son pass around the 24km mark, tackling a roughly 7km incline, shorter than the nearly 10km climb in the previous race. After descending the pass, runners will turn into the Libera Nha Trang urban area, heading back along Nguyen Co Thach Street to finish at 2/4 Square. The route offers a diverse experience, from the city at night to the hills and the sunrise over the sea.
Throughout the course, organizers will provide water stations, medical aid, and technical support at strategic locations, especially in areas with high runner density or challenging terrain. These support points will remain fixed throughout the race, helping runners maintain their energy and ensuring their safety.
With this year's routes, VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 aims to balance physical challenge with scenic views and urban exploration. The event takes place on 24/8, and is expected to attract 13,000 runners, concluding the three-race summer series within the VnExpress Marathon system. Tickets are currently on sale in the Late registration phase.
