The minimalist design features a turquoise color scheme and incorporates the shape of a seashell, evoking the sea and conveying a message of resilience and aspiration. Unlike previous versions, this year's design emphasizes simplicity while retaining depth and symbolism. The gentle swirls on the shell's surface are clearly depicted, evoking the natural movement and sound of ocean waves.
According to the organizers, the seashell also symbolizes the runner's journey, accumulating like each step taken on the course. The medal's design starts from the base, where the shell gradually rises, encompassing Nha Trang's architectural and cultural details before connecting to the lanyard, creating a seamless, closed loop.

The centerpiece of the medal is the Tram Huong Tower, a lotus-bud-shaped structure located in the city's central square. This iconic landmark, familiar to both residents and tourists, represents the city's unique culture, tranquility, and hospitality. On the medal, the tower is prominently placed, symbolizing both the starting and finishing points of the races.
On the right side of the medal is the Do Theater, designed to resemble a traditional Vietnamese fishing basket ("do ca"), a familiar sight in Khanh Hoa's coastal life. The building is considered a symbol of modern urban creativity, connecting traditional culture with contemporary art. The Do Theater is located in the Libera Nha Trang urban area, the site of the race expo. Runners in the 21km and 42km races will pass this area.
The back of the medal is engraved with "FINISH" along with the 6th character in the 9-character message of the 2025 VnExpress Marathon series. By participating in all the races throughout the year, runners can collect the entire set of medals to complete the message.

The VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 is expected to attract 13,000 runners, with distances ranging from 5km to 42km. The race will take place along the coastal route, passing the Tran Phu Bridge, Tram Huong Tower, and Luong Son Pass.
