"I’ve received death threats, and my health has been targeted. My family has also received comments and threats. I even had to hire security for travel. All of this genuinely made me fear for myself," Brown told Fox News on 30/4.

Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion began dating last summer and frequently appeared together publicly. Speaking to TMZ, the American rapper stated she initiated the breakup, emphasizing that "trust, loyalty, and respect are non-negotiable values." According to the New York Post, Megan Thee Stallion implied Thompson's infidelity, and some sources suggested Brown was involved in the relationship.
Brown fully denied the allegations and expressed frustration that neither Thompson nor Megan Thee Stallion had issued clarifications. "I'm the only one denying and asserting this is completely false. I don't understand why I'm the only one who has to defend my reputation," she stated.
The 31-year-old player also stated she was unclear why she was dragged into the rumors. According to Brown, she only knew Thompson through connections in the basketball community and had no contact with Megan Thee Stallion.
Brown, born in 1994, currently plays for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA and the Athletes Unlimited league. She previously played for teams including the Chicago Sky, Minnesota Lynx, Connecticut Sun, and Los Angeles Sparks. The Connecticut Sun selected Brown 9th overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft. Before her professional career, she played college basketball for the Maryland Terrapins and Duke Blue Devils.
