Wastewater at Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park exceeded connection standards by nearly 2,800 times, while many canals, production areas, and surrounding land were polluted by wastewater, dust, emissions, and accumulated waste.

With a 100-year vision, the capital city plans to continue moving polluting industries out of its central areas, replacing them with urban social infrastructure projects.

Green industrial parks must integrate disaster-resilient infrastructure from the planning stage to mitigate risks and attract significant capital, experts say.
