6 bustling destinations nationwide for the 30/4 holiday

During the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and 30/4 - 1/5 holidays, numerous tourist destinations are lively with vibrant flowers, festivals, and streams of visitors enjoying their break.

Sapa Rose Festival

Sapa draws northern tourists during the holiday, offering cool weather and the rose festival atop Fansipan. Thousands of visitors capture photos amidst a vibrant display of ancient Sapa roses, climbing roses, and other rare varieties.

Many tourists are pictured capturing moments at the Fansipan Rose Festival, which commenced on 25/4. Coinciding with this, Fansipan is also experiencing its rhododendron season, enhancing the appeal for those exploring the highlands.

Beyond the flower festival, visitors to Sapa can explore Ban May to witness cultural performances like "Dinh thieng du ky" and "Tay Bac mua hoa no", featuring traditional khen dancing and drumming. These shows vividly portray the distinct culture of the local highland communities.

Trade Port Style Fair in Bai Chay

The VUI-Fest Ha Long market, situated at Sun Elite City in the Ngon Hai Dang - Duong Ky Quan area of Bai Chay, opened on the first day of the holiday, drawing numerous visitors. A key attraction was a water performance featuring 6 red sailboats, which, through a blend of music and light, formed a "light dragon" on the bay.

Street performances, also captured in images, contributed to the lively festive atmosphere of the fair.

The opening night featured a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display, comprising thousands of fireworks and over 50 light and music effects. Ha Long also captivated visitors with street performances, DJ sets, and mobile stages utilizing buggies.

Festivals in Sam Son, Ha Nam, Cat Ba

This year's three-day Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday saw thousands of tourists opting for destinations a mere one to two hours drive from the capital. On the evening of 25/4, a fireworks display marked the beginning of Sam Son's 2026 beach festival season, which includes numerous activities. The image shows Sam Son's sky illuminated by fireworks, drawing tens of thousands of residents and visitors.

Cat Ba experienced a significant influx of visitors during the VUI-Fest opening night, with a lively festival atmosphere pervading the central bay. Highlights included fireworks, DJ performances, fire dancing, and diverse culinary experiences at Sun Bavaria Cat Ba.

Ha Nam ward will also host a high-altitude fireworks display at 21:30 on the evening of 30/4-1/5 at Times Square. The 15-minute show is sponsored by Sun Group.

Sun World Ba Na Hills in Da Nang continued to draw a large crowd on the first day of the holiday. This year's main attraction is the Sun Festival, featuring a range of culinary, beer, and art experiences. The Golden Bridge, vibrant with flags and flowers, remains a popular photo opportunity.

The vibrant display of flags and flowers, combined with the cool, cloudy weather, enhances the appeal of this destination.

Throughout the holiday, Ba Den Mountain continues to host the leaf market, a flag-raising ceremony, a historical memory exhibition, and a complimentary "frontline" food area.

Multicultural Space in Phu Quoc

Phu Quoc remains a popular holiday destination, with its Sunset Bazaar in Hoang Hon Town adorned with flags and flowers, welcoming a significant number of visitors. The seaside night market, performances near Kiss Bridge, and renowned beaches such as Bai Kem and Bai Sao collectively enhance the island's charm at the beginning of summer.

A major attraction for many visitors is the nightly artistic fireworks display in the center of Hoang Hon Town, contributing to the unique allure of this "fireworks city".
