From 18/8 to 25/8, Bamboo Airways passengers departing from terminal 3 who are delayed due to being unaware of the relocation, but arrive within 20 minutes of their printed departure time and are confirmed by Bamboo Airways ground staff, will be offered free flight changes to the next available flight on the same route.

If subsequent flights are full, Bamboo Airways will still provide free flight changes, waiving any fare differences, to the nearest available flight. For routes with only one daily flight, passengers will receive a free change to the next day's flight on the same route.
To inform passengers of this change, the airline is increasing communication through its website, Facebook page, email, SMS, and Zalo OA account. Bamboo Airways recommends passengers actively monitor these channels to avoid confusion and ensure smooth travel.
"With thorough preparation and timely support policies for passengers during this initial transition phase, Bamboo Airways hopes all flights will operate smoothly and on time," an airline representative said.
Terminal 3 is equipped with modern facilities, including 90 traditional check-in counters, 20 self-service drop-off counters, 42 check-in kiosks, and 27 boarding gates. These include 13 jet bridges and 14 bus gates, 25 security checkpoints, and separate lounge areas for VIP and business class passengers.
At terminal 3, Bamboo Airways flights will be handled at counters 45-50 (opposite gates D2 and D3), with the flexibility to expand to counters 43-52 based on passenger volume and actual demand. The airline's last-minute ticket counter is located at gate D2 for easy passenger access.
According to an airline representative, the relocation of all domestic flight operations to and from Ho Chi Minh City to terminal 3 demonstrates Bamboo Airways' proactive adaptation to the national aviation infrastructure upgrade strategy. "We chose the transition date to coincide with the 7th anniversary of our launch in the Vietnamese aviation market. This affirms our message of readiness for innovation and commitment to enhancing the passenger experience," the representative stated.
According to the latest statistics from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Bamboo Airways has maintained the highest on-time performance rate among domestic airlines for the past seven months, averaging 81%. The airline also had the lowest cancellation rate at 0.1%, equivalent to eight flights.
