Located about 25 km from the center of Moc Chau tourist area, Suoi Bon (in Van Ho commune) lies in a valley surrounded by mountains, terraced rice fields, and rose myrtle hills. Suoi Bon sits at an altitude of 800 to 1,000 m above sea level, enjoying a cool climate year-round with summer temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius.

Suoi Bon is a place of pristine nature and rich cultural heritage of the northern highlands. The rose myrtle hills are a favorite check-in spot for tourists. The flowers usually bloom around August and September, covering the hillsides around Suoi Bon.

Quang Kien, a tourism professional in Moc Chau, says Suoi Bon currently has no entrance fee, offering visitors a "free trip" with relaxing and peaceful experiences.

The best time to visit Suoi Bon is early morning, from 5 am to 8 am, to catch the sunrise. With a bit of luck, you might witness clouds drifting across the mountains. The late afternoon, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm, is also a beautiful time as the sunset gently casts a golden hue across the sky.

Reaching Suoi Bon requires navigating steep and narrow mountain roads. "Be cautious on rainy days as the roads can be quite slippery. If you're a confident driver, you can drive up the hill, otherwise, park at the foot of the slope and walk for safety," Kien advises.

Around the beginning of September, the terraced rice fields begin to turn golden. Suoi Bon offers visitors a chance to hunt for clouds, camp, admire the golden rice season, and capture artistic photos.

Currently, Suoi Bon doesn't have food or accommodation services. Visitors can stay in Moc Chau town and make day trips to Suoi Bon, combining it with nearby activities like waterfall swimming and exploring the pristine nature of Van Ho commune, visiting shan tuyet tea hills, Tat Nang waterfall, and Chieng Yen hot springs.
