The first workshop focused on solutions for standardizing quality, applying technology in processing, preserving, and tracing agricultural product origins, as well as brand building. It also explored integrating culinary heritage into cinema, television, and short videos to promote Vietnamese culture, people, and destinations.
The program also proposed developing a culinary map and film tours combined with food experiences, visits to raw material regions, and the "Huong vi Gia Lai - Taste of Gia Lai" model. This aims to convert audience interest into a desire to experience, consume products, and stay in the locality.
Delegates also discussed methods for connecting raw material regions with restaurants, hotels, distribution systems, and tourism businesses, helping producers increase product value.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, Vice Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, stated that the province will coordinate with associations, businesses, and localities to research and pilot practical initiatives, targeting specific partners, products, and markets.
Within the program's framework, delegates participated in a survey trip to Nem cha cho Huyen Olala and Ca Farm Organic on the afternoon of 17/10. The organizing committee expects the workshop series to create further links between agriculture, cultural industries, and tourism, contributing to enhancing the value of agricultural products, promoting local identity, and expanding livelihoods for the community.
