Episode two of Sao Chon, filmed in Hai Phong, will air at 21h on sunday, 4/10, on the program's website and VnExpress newspaper's YouTube channel, and at 20h40 on VTV8. Joining this leg of the journey are actor Quang Thang, a Hai Phong native, and artist Do Duy Nam. Host Phi Linh continues to lead the program.
Through the program, the crew aims to reveal the unique characteristics of each flavor and cultural story, thereby promoting Hai Phong tourism. The city boasts distinctive island and sea landscapes, including Cat Ba archipelago, Lan Ha Bay, Do Son, Hon Dau, and Bach Long Vi, along with pristine forests, caves, and beaches.
For many diners, the allure of the "city of red flamboyant flowers" also stems from its diverse cuisine, including: banh da cua (crab noodle soup), bun ca cay (spicy fish noodles), nem cua be (crab spring rolls), banh mi que (baguette sticks), and chao cay (spicy porridge). Artist Quang Thang expressed excitement about introducing his hometown's delicacies to everyone. Meanwhile, Do Duy Nam looks forward to discovering the flavors and learning the stories behind each dish.

Born in Hai Phong in 1968, actor Quang Thang showed talent for acting and singing from a young age. In 1999, he joined the program Gap Nhau Cuoi Tuan, later earning audience affection for his role as the Economic Genie in Tao Quan. With over 30 years in the profession, beyond his comedic stage persona, the artist has also portrayed diverse roles in television series such as Nhung Nguoi Con Cua Bien, Song O Day Song, Loi Noi Doi Ngot Ngao, Yeu Thi Ghet Thoi, and 11 Thang 5 Ngay.
In 2015, the State awarded Quang Thang the title of Meritorious Artist. In 2021, the actor was among 78 exemplary artists honored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Born in 1990, Do Duy Nam graduated from the Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. He gained attention through his participation in the film Song Ngam, programs Chung Cu 22+, Bua Trua Vui Ve, Guong Mat Than Quen, and by releasing parody music videos. In recent years, Duy Nam has made his mark portraying diverse supporting roles in Huong Vi Tinh Than, Huong Duong Nguoc Nang, Thuong Ngay Nang Ve, Biet Duoc Den, and the crime series Doc Dao. In early 2025, he will portray the character Tao Dau in Tao Quan 2025, as Nam Tao merges with Bac Dau in line with the program's message of streamlining its apparatus.
