Hotel Indigo Saigon The City celebrates one year of operation

After one year of operation, Hotel Indigo Saigon The City is hosting a series of events in March to express gratitude to its guests, partners, and the surrounding community.

Hotel Indigo Saigon The City, located in a central alley near the Ba Son area of TP HCM, is marking its first anniversary with a month-long celebration. According to a hotel representative, its journey over the past year has been built around the idea of telling the neighborhood's story through its distinctive design, authentic cuisine, and unique guest experiences.

As part of the one-year anniversary, The Shipyard restaurant at the hotel is presenting a special menu titled "A Taste Of Our Neighbourhood" throughout March. This exclusive menu was collaboratively created by Executive Chef Xuan Huong and Chef Xuan Tam, former President of the World Master Chefs Society in Vietnam.

The menu features five a la carte dishes, skillfully blending familiar Vietnamese ingredients with modern preparation methods. A hotel representative stated that the menu aims to recreate slices of life in TP HCM through its flavors and presentation, offering guests a unique culinary journey.

From 1/3 to 31/3, guests staying at the hotel will receive custom-designed postcards. Through the "From Hotel Indigo Saigon With Love" program, guests can share their feelings, wishes, or memories from their stay. These cards will then be displayed in the lobby, becoming a part of the hotel's first-year anniversary commemoration.

On 14/3, the hotel will host a perfume workshop called "The Scent of Hem" for guests, in collaboration with the De Sainty Labo brand. This activity draws inspiration from the familiar scents of TP HCM's alleys, such as the morning sun, the aroma of wood from doorways, and the fragrance of fruits and flowers from street vendors. Under expert guidance, participants can create their own 20 ml bottle of perfume, allowing them to capture a personal experience.

Earlier, on International Women's Day, the hotel launched a gift program for female guests dining at The Shipyard restaurant. Additionally, female guests enjoying dinner or afternoon tea will receive a skincare set from the Cocoon Vietnam brand. This set includes 500 ml An Giang thot not sugar shower gel and 200 ml An Giang thot not sugar body scrub, and is available until the end of March.

According to a hotel representative, collaborating with Vietnamese brands that use local ingredients is an integral part of its strategy to connect with local values. Ms. Amy Nha, General Manager of Hotel Indigo Saigon The City, stated that the first year of operation was a crucial phase for the hotel to establish its identity and connect with the surrounding community.

"We value the trust of our guests, the partnership of our collaborators, and the efforts of our team throughout this first year," she said.

Ms. Nha added that the hotel positions itself not merely as an accommodation, but as a space that recounts stories of the neighborhood and the local rhythm of life. Following one year of operation, the hotel will continue to offer experiences tied to the neighborhood theme and local culture in its guest programs.
